As an upgrade to your lower engine mount bushing, SuperPro recommends replacing just the rear bushing. So what we have done to make a similar upgrade, We have ordered RACE Rear lower engine mount bushings, the stiffest bushing Powerflex make.
You will receive one rear lower engine mount bushing "RACE" From Powerflex. This bushing can cause some unwanted vibration, however is the stiffest bushing on the market, it is basically as good as solid lower engine mount, without the unwanted excess vibration.
Dollar for this is the best upgrade you can make to your Hyundai/KIA, the OEM bushing is so soft (even on the Veloster N) that you can literally squeeze it together with your hand. This bushing is an extremely hard material which doesn't allow any flex or movement.
PLEASE NOTE: These are Genuine Powerflex Race Bushing! With the Powerflex logo and Part Number stamped into it!
Take a look at the Powerflex Chart! This is almost a solid metal bushing!

A definite improvement over stock. Wheel hop seems to be pretty much gone. Vibration increase is very minimal. I might want to change out the other half of the mount to a stiffer than stock, but softer than “race spec” bushing.
I was very skeptical at first to do this. Now I am insanely glad I did. I have a 2018 Elantra GT Sport 1.6L with the DCT. It has dramatically changed how the car feels. For 20 minutes and about $50 it'll smooth out taking off from a stop, improve shifting both up and down. All while providing minimal vibration to the interior. With the DCT, SPORT mode makes the tiny vibration disappear. This combined with the REDLINE fluid change on the DCT have rekindled my love with this car. 11/10 mod
Great product. The rubber is very firm compared to the stock bushings. If you do not mind a slight engine vibration at idle and initial throttle off idle. It makes the engine run very smooth after that. The throttle response is improved. Even clutch engagement improved. As for power to the ground, you will feel more power being delivered to the wheels. Less engine movement. Some increased vibrations. Better power delivery. Probably the best bang for your buck.
I was unsure of changing my lower mount as I did not want vibrations on my daily driver and wanted to get rid of wheel hop. The bushing surpassed my expectations! Got rid of the whee hop, the car was way more planted feeling, and there is like 0 vibrations! Well worth the money! Car should have come with this from factory.
