Works with: any water-methanol injection system, to mount an additional nozzle; this version is plumbed with 4AN stainless braided line.
What this is
The Snow Performance Dual Nozzle Upgrade adds a second water-methanol nozzle so two nozzles run at once. Snow Performance recommends it for engines with dual throttle bodies or a dual plenum, where one nozzle per side gives even distribution, and for engines that need more water-methanol than one nozzle can deliver. Snow Performance part number SNO-40040-BRD.
What is in the kit
- Two stainless braided lines with 4AN ends (as pictured)
- 4AN T fitting
- Nozzle holder with a straight 4AN fitting (as pictured)
- Nozzle: not included in Snow Performance's dual nozzle upgrade; see our WMI Nozzle for Snow Performance Kits
Installation
From Snow Performance's dual nozzle instructions:
- Mount the nozzles just before the throttle body on a gasoline engine. Do not inject before a turbocharger or centrifugal supercharger: the compressor wheel can be damaged.
- Remove the intake part from the car, drill and tap it (11/32-inch pre-drill, 1/8-27 NPT tap) and clean out all metal shavings.
- Use a small amount of methanol-resistant sealant on the nozzle threads; a half turn past finger tight is usually enough to seal.
- Place the T where the lines will not bend sharply or kink, connect its remaining port to the main feed from the pump or solenoid, and zip-tie the lines away from hot or moving parts.
FAQ
Is a nozzle included?
Plan on buying the second nozzle separately.
Can both nozzles go in the same intake pipe?
Yes. Snow Performance says they can sit next to each other, opposite each other or at different points on the pipe.
