Fits: Hyundai and Kia turbocharged cars that use an electronic boost control solenoid (EBCS). It fits the older Kia Forte Turbo but not the newer Kia Forte GT. It can also be used with aftermarket electronic boost controllers and on other brands of car through the Vehicle option below.
What this is
An EBCS, or electronic boost control solenoid, controls how your turbo builds and holds boost; it is also called a wastegate solenoid. The N75 Race Valve replaces the car's factory solenoid with a German-made Pierburg valve, pre-mounted on an aluminum bracket, together with a wiring-harness conversion that plugs into your car's existing connector. It is a boost-control upgrade for cars running higher than stock boost.
The valve handles up to 25 psi, and we have run it at that level over a long period in our own testing. As of the end of 2024 it had been in use and sold for five years, and we have built the kit around the same Pierburg valve since we launched it and have not changed it.
Why the Pierburg valve
It is a boost-control upgrade for cars running higher than stock boost. The valve in this kit is the design VAG arrived at after many revisions: a Pierburg valve used by VAG on the older TT, mounted on the compressor side of the turbo housing on the 2.0T GTI.
Not every valve that carries the Pierburg name is the same part, because Pierburg makes many boost-control solenoids, which is why we specify this exact valve.

Installation
- Plug the wiring-harness conversion into your car's existing connector.
- Connect the hoses to the correct ports; the included diagram labels which port goes to the wastegate and which goes to the turbo.
