You asked, we delivered. Many times we have been asked for a replacement trumpet that gives a different sound, and here it is.
The ability to change the sound of a blow-off valve is increasingly becoming an important issue with buyers, who want to sound different from everyone else.
Installed my blow off valve yesterday the install was very tight with the added whistle, but when I went to go drive it, I heard no whistle and was very disappointed. When I installed it, I had looked on the blow off valve side to make sure that the hole was completely open on that side and then installed it to make sure that I did not put it on wrong knowing that there’s not a lot of room to work with once it’s in. Gonna try and work with it a little I read one of the comments before that said the twist the charge pipe, but I don’t know if that’s just for install or if that’s for whistle too 🤷♂️. Other than it not whistling, the sound is amazing and I have no other complaints.

This isn’t as loud as some people claim, definitely louder than the T9010 BOV trumpet that it comes with, it’s a nice crisp whistle sound and once I installed it I was more than happy with the result! I suggest taking the BOV off the housing first, unless you have small hands to reach around and screw it in, because the newer trumpet is a bit longer and sits against the front plastics
Not sure what went wrong here. I installed this on my Elantra N with the GFB Deceptor Pro II adjustable BOV. This trumpet is so long that it's a struggle to actually install, since it will be pressed against the fan shroud. Also, there is no whistling sound at all. If possible I'd attach a video to show you guys how it sounds. It's definitely loud, but it just makes a "Pshh" noise, not the loud high pitched whistle that you see in YouTube videos of this product. Not sure if mine is just defective or what, but that's the situation for me. (Yes, I tried it with the BOV set to 100% vent).
twist the charge pipe, it will clear without issue.
You have to set it to BOV, I am more than sure from your describtion its set to recirc.
