What this is
N72 ECU Editor is our own system for tuning your own Hyundai or Kia ECU file: TunerPro RT plus XDF map definitions we make in WinOLS 5 and build to your calibration ID.
It suits the enthusiast who would rather make their own files than buy a tune, or who bought a tune and wants to edit it. Adjust boost, ignition timing, AFR, RPM limit, idle speed, vehicle speed limit, camshaft (VVT) control, turbocharger control and more, or build your own pop tune.
We have offered the software since 2022, use plain-language map names rather than tuner terms, and offer online support. Tuners worldwide use the definitions. Owners report the software is easy to use and that we give plenty of support and are trustworthy and reliable.
What you get
Included: TunerPro RT, the XDF built to your calibration ID and online support. Three versions:
- Lite: the newest version and the one to start on; covers the basics (pops, RPM limit, AFR, boost and timing) this is designed for editing tuned files, making your own pop tune, changing timing or AFR on a existing tune.
- Track: for the end user tweaking their own file; every map needed for tuning, covering what most users need; not all maps need/have to be used.
- Pro: for the professional tuner, including tuners from other platforms; every map needed to tune the ECU from scratch, more than most users will ever use.
Start on Lite. Choose Track to tweak a complete file, Pro to tune from scratch. Tuning files and flash tools are not included; a base map can be purchased separately by email.
How it works after you order
- Order a version and tell us the vehicle.
- Read your ECU with your flash tool.
- Email the .bin to info@n75motorsports.ca (tuners: .bdc is fine).
- We build an XDF to your calibration ID; typical turnaround is 24 hours or less after we receive your file.
- Open the file in TunerPro RT with the XDF, edit, save and write it back with your flash tool.
Requirements
- A flash tool that reads and writes your ECU as a .bin: BitBox, Combi-Box or PCMFlash.
- Your own ECU read.
- Not for EK1 Pro or EK1 Lite files; see our EK1 custom file service.
- No tuning file or base map is included.
- Not sold to South American countries or the Caribbean islands.
FAQ
Is a tune or base map included?
No. You make the changes yourself; a base map can be purchased separately by email.
Does it work with my EK1 files?
No, not on EK1 Pro or EK1 Lite files; EK1 Pro files are encrypted. For N75 tuning on an EK1, see our EK1 custom file service.
Does N72 work with the N75 Windows ECU Editor?
Yes. N72 XDFs import into our Windows ECU Editor and we can supply N72 definitions as CSV map packs with full names and groups.
