We have said for over a decade, a OBD reader should be standard factory tool kit, this is the ultimate user end OBD reader and ECU flash tool, and far more. Logging on EK1 device has similar refresh rate to professional tuner tools.

EK1 Mini2 is a new tool from NKLABS Korea that allows flashing, logging on nearly all Hyundai's and Kia ECU's and even some TCU's. Read and Write of the ECU without the need for ECU unlocking.

 The extra accessories we add are to complete the product. Countless times we shipped EK1's to customers and they need to order small stuff like a USBC cable, we increased the price of the device slightly, however include everything you will need.

 

 

 

 

 

Custom tuning from N75 Motorsports for ANY Hyundai or Kia ECU supported by this product.

This device is so affordable, and performance is great, logging is nearly unmatched by any other tool. To make it more affordable for our customers, we offer any staged tune when adding tuning to this product.  This means expensive stage 3 and flame tunes come with the device and a total of 4 variations of tuning available for your vehicle.  

When adding a tune you receive 3 variants of that tune, higher octane, pop and bangs, whatever you wish. Even our Showtune which shoots flames. We offer any stage tune for ANY Vehicle supported by the EK1, including our most expensive Anti-Lag/flame or track tuning.

How does it work when adding N75 Motorsports Tuning?

1a: Buy the Device, upon checkout the update software will be automatically added to your cart. After payment, there will be a download link for EK1 Device PC update software. Download this and save it for when you receive the device. 

1b: Receive the device, install it. The blue wire goes to a power source (fuse box) that is 12+ volts and comes on only when Ignition is turn on aka IGN2 (2 presses of the Ignition button, not accessory mode)

2a: Make an account with N75Tuning - login.n75tuning.com 

2b: Read your ECU or ECU ID depending upon on vehicle model and year. All ECU files will be found in the "Maps" Folder on the SD card. If you are unsure which ECU you have, you can use our ECU checker on N75Tuning.com 

3: Input your ECU ID/Read file, EKM device serial number (found on the back of the device), VIN number, make, model, year, order number, modifications to your vehicle, and upload file in "Maps" folder to login.n75tuning.com

4: (OPTIONAL) Make a SXTHNK account for bootpatch and OE File download, however you may request this via N75tuning.com.

5: We send you your OEM file and base file based on your modifications, via N75Tuning is a OTS base map used to gauge your engines performance. Download the file off the site and place on SD card in "Maps" Folder.

6: Write the Bootpatch if applicable, then write the tuned base file.

7: Using the EK1 Mini2+ log the base file, logging parameters (RPM, Boost or MAP, Relative throttle position, Absolute throttle position, Ignition Timing, AFR, STFT, LTFT and vehicle speed) any additional parameters will help, if your vehicle has wastegate position and target, please add these. (Not all ECUs support this)

8: Upload logs (3rd and 4th gear wide open throttle pulls) to N75tuning.com. Logs are found in "Logs" folder on SD card. 

9: Receive your updated files to your request via download on N75Tuning.com. All maps go into "Maps" folder on the SD card.

10: Write your desired tuning file and N joy!

I purchased the EK1 Mini2+, with 3 map revisions, and also some other goodies like an intake/inlet from N75
Initially we had some trouble with postage, but I don't blame N75 for this at all - this was purely due to issues with customs and import laws between Canada and Australia
N75 and his shipping team were very helpful during this process

Once I had the package and the EK1, the next step was tuning!
I've worked hand-in-hand with Daniel now for months throughout the tuning process, back and forth trying and testing different things
Fundamentally, the goal was a pump fuel, stage 2 tune, not chasing absolute power and increasing risk.

Daniel is a busy dude, and business has been doing well for N75 (as it rightfully should), so we had some hiccups sometimes where I had to repeat myself every now and then, but Daniel was always quick to respond, and he was always willing to try out a optional request I brought to him, and make revisions for it.
He was also willing to explain any questions you have for him about particular things or the process in detail - sometimes even supplying photos of the software and variables, or results of his own vehicle for reference.

I paid one price- and I got Daniel's attention for months, and not once has he ever turned around and said enough is enough.

I can't recommend N75 enough to everyone I'll speak to about tuning the Elantra N
Daniel is passionate, and he'll look after you and your car, as if it was his own

Oh and the tune itself?
It's unreal. An unmatched difference of power and delivery, and it doesn't run hotter than stock, I'm not stressing the internals to their absolute limit, and we have even done things like have ECO mode limited in power (12psi boost) and better for fuel, for when my wife daily drives the car.
Daniel even helped make ECO/Normal modes ensure the exhaust is closed 100% of the time, to keep the car nice and quiet when it needs to be (and it also removed a lot of exhaust valve rasp that was caused by eco/normal mode opening the valve slightly)
And of course N MODE has the exhaust 100% open, 100% of the time.
I don't know what power numbers I'm getting, as I haven't had it on a dyno - But I do know, that I've won many many casual pulls against things like Golf R's/GTI's, Mustang GTs, SS V8 Commodores, FBO WRX's etc
It's not more than enough power for people to RESPECT the Elantra N, and immediately after one pull change their attitude they have about it "just being a hyundai bro"

The next step is the TCU tune when it's available!

I mean the difference is unmatched, ran the daily driver 91 tune for 3 years and then got this to go stage 2 and it made me fall in love with my car again. Cannot stress this enough that Daniel is the best tuner for our platform and will not trust anyone else. Thank you

The difference between stock and EK1 tune is incredibly noticeable. Did a few roll tests (not 1/4 mile since grip on these FWD cars suffer) between stock, JB4 and EK1 tune, all on 93 octane. Note I do have some supporting mods: intake, inlet, intercooler, hpfp, spark plugs, coil pack. From 30-100mph from 2nd gear (from 1st gear got too much wheelspin). Stock - 10.65 seconds, JB4 map2 - 9.75 seconds, EK1 tune - 8.55 seconds. The JB4 does give a nice boost of .9 seconds quicker, but the tune is a huge improvement of 2.1 seconds!

Works great and buying from N75 motorsports it came with all the extras you need to set it up that you wouldn't get buying from somewhere else which was super helpful.
