Fits: Hyundai Elantra N 2022 onward.
What this is
A large front-mount intercooler (FMIC) kit developed by N75 Motorsports for the Hyundai Elantra N. It uses a two-step, tube-and-fin core with much more internal volume than the small factory intercooler, so the charge air reaching the engine stays cooler when you are on boost.
Tuning is not required to run this intercooler. On a stock ECU tune we see little to no benefit and do not suggest running it there; the benefit is greatest on Stage 2+ ECU tuning. For that reason we suggest getting your ECU tuning sorted first, since we do not see the need for this kit on OEM tuning. See our Elantra N ECU Calibration on Spare ECU (2022-2023) and Elantra N ECU Calibration on Spare ECU (2024-2026).
Design
The core is a two-step, tube-and-fin design for more internal volume. The tube-and-fin style keeps airflow to the radiator present rather than blocking it, so even at this core thickness there is little to no heatsoak on hot track days. A welded air guide helps direct air into the core area.
The inlet and outlet are enlarged by 10 mm. There is no larger hot-side pipe available for the Elantra N, so increasing them further would cause a large pressure drop; we chose a 10 mm increase to avoid that. Paired with a cold-side charge pipe (hot-pipe upgrade), the kit suits higher-boost setups.
The end tanks are shaped for flow at 21 psi and higher. The outlets leave the core at 45 degrees, so the charge-pipe coupler bends less than it would with a straight outlet, which helps flow.
In a hot climate the larger core brings charge temperatures down faster when you get on the throttle. Tube-and-fin cores suit motorsport use and are generally lighter for the same volume.

What owners report
Owners report the kit arrives well packaged and undamaged, with no nicks and no deformed metal. They describe it as well made and much larger than the OE intercooler; one owner was surprised it even fit because it is so much bigger than stock. Owners confirm it fits the car. One owner reports intake temperatures improved by about 10 to 20 degrees and notes the larger core adds some weight as a trade-off.
Shipping and damage claims
The intercooler is professionally packaged for international shipping. To claim shipping damage, take pictures of the intercooler in the box before you remove it.
FAQ
Do I need a tune to run this?
No. Tuning is not required. On a stock tune we see little to no benefit; the benefit is greatest on Stage 2+ ECU tuning, so we suggest getting your ECU tuning sorted first. See our Elantra N ECU Calibration on Spare ECU (2022-2023) and Elantra N ECU Calibration on Spare ECU (2024-2026).
Will it work with higher boost?
The inlet and outlet are enlarged by 10 mm. Because there is no larger hot-side pipe for the Elantra N, a bigger increase would cause a pressure drop, so the 10 mm figure is deliberate. Paired with a cold-side charge pipe, the kit suits higher-boost setups.
Does it fit my Elantra N?
It is a direct replacement for the Elantra N 2022 onward.
