Fits: Hyundai Elantra N, 2024–2026 model years only, 6-speed manual and DCT.
Current lead time
Expect a 1–3 week wait. 2024+ ECU hardware is in short supply, so allow 14–20 days after ordering before you receive a tracking number. We have tuned ECUs the same day they were bought when hardware was in stock, but that is not always the case.
What this is
A new Elantra N ECU, calibrated in-house by N75 Motorsports and coded to your car, so there is no downtime and Bluelink works like OEM. Our ECUs work anywhere in the world.
Hyundai changed the 2024 ECU's bootloader (the flashing area) to deter tuning and added a flash counter. Mapping is the same as earlier years, but a 2023 ECU cannot be used on a 2024 car.
Stage 3 — 357 whp on our Elantra N 6-speed test car (Dynojet, STD correction).
Stages
Stock output is around 250–270 whp. All maps are dyno tested by our dealers overseas, and we under-list power because fuel conditions vary worldwide.
| Stage | Power | Required mods |
|---|---|---|
| Stage 0 | Not rated | None. |
| Stage 1 | 295 whp / 310 ft-lbs | Intake; heat range 9 spark plugs. Nothing else. |
| Stage 2 | 310–335 whp / 335 wtq, octane depending | Heat range 9 spark plugs; HPFP upgrade recommended; any air intake (we use AFE); fuel injector upgrade. |
| Stage 3 | 355–380 whp / 355 ft-lbs, octane depending | Heat range 9 spark plugs; intake; HPFP upgrade; FMIC upgrade; WMI (required); downpipe and catless or high-flow exhaust. |
Stage 0 removes octane learning, with a slight AFR adjustment and an HPFP control change. Stage 1 needs only an intake and heat range 9 plugs, and corrects OEM tune issues such as AFR for better fuel economy. Stage 2 is designed to last the life of the car; injectors are listed after a large number of recent injector failures, some off the showroom floor, some stuck open. A custom Stage 2 tune, fine-tuned off logs, has run 12.00 @ 117 mph in an Elantra N DCT.
Stage 3 — 366 whp / 411 ft-lb with the air-fuel ratio trace (Dynojet, STD correction).
Options explained
- 7000/7200 RPM shift (any stage): shift point raised to 7000 RPM on DCT cars and 7200 RPM on 6-speed cars.
- N Mode pop map: pop sound changed through the ECU, more aggressive than OEM, N Mode only like OEM. A high-flow catted or catless downpipe is recommended.
- Flame map: pop flames tuned in. The car must be catless. Flames are produced on rev hang.
How it works after you order
- Order with your stage and options and send us your VIN and transmission type (6-speed manual or DCT). That is all we need.
- We code a new ECU to your car, load your calibration and ship it with tracking. Your OEM ECU stays untouched.
Calibration features
Developed in Canada on our own R&D car and test cars overseas with WinOLS, a worldwide tuner network and the full factory definition (damos) for this ECU, which lists every map. Click the badge to verify our WinOLS licence with EVC.
- Fuel delivery: N-series fuel delivery is not set for high boost, so the ECU pulls power and cuts fuel under high demand; HPFP and fuel maps are optimized to prevent the cut.
- AFR: the factory calibration runs very rich; corrected for more power and better fuel economy.
- Torque, ignition, airflow and VVT: torque maps changed to make more power (you cannot just lift boost); timing optimized for a smoother powerband; air limits and expected manifold charge raised; VVT changed slightly; WOT areas optimized in relation to each other.
- Turbo management: wastegate duty cycle, pressure application and turbo limits changed; boost increased; wastegate opening limits changed to help spool.
- Overboost: stock is typically around 18–20 PSI; lifted to around 25 PSI, removed completely on Stage 3 and up.
- Warmup protection: full power and boost only once engine oil is up to temperature.
- Engine temperature management (Stage 2 and 3): allowed exhaust and intake model temperatures raised so the car holds power toward redline.
- Fan control: coolant fan on at 100% instead of 50%.
- Fault prevention: the crankcase-ventilation fault 2024+ cars can set with a performance intake is corrected, so no check engine light. Primary O2 monitoring never triggers a fault code; no codes deleted, O2 DTCs removed only on request.
- Octane learning: disabled by default; left on if you ask.
- Assisted launch control: more boost during launch-ready and in first and second gear with LC, up to 13 psi standing still in launch mode.
DCT only
- Interface removal (Stage 2 and up): the DCT's power reduction in certain shifter positions is removed.
- Increased clutch pressure: the ECU requests more clutch clamping load from the TCU via torque and TCU-related maps (not TCU maps directly), logged with Hyundai dealership scan tools.
- 2-step style anti-lag: aggressive pops and flames during launch control, spinning the turbo to 17–18 PSI.
Before you order
- Run the required mods for your stage. We can tune on the OEM HPFP, but it is a weak point on this car and we suggest replacing it.
- 5w40 full synthetic engine oil and top-tier premium fuel are suggested; power figures are octane dependent.
FAQ
Do I send you my ECU?
No. We code a new ECU from your VIN and transmission type.
Will Bluelink still work?
Yes, it works like OEM on the N75 ECU.
Is the tune customizable?
Yes, our tunes are fully customizable. Local customers get a free flash back to stock, a few-minute OBD job.
Use and liability notice
Stage 2 and 3 raise OEM temperature limits. N75 Motorsports takes no responsibility for damage caused by lifted temperature limits where the car lacks the supporting mods or runs incorrect fuel, plugs, a charge-pipe leak, non-recommended engine oil, poor maintenance, incorrect or non-recommended WMI fluid, or a pre-existing mechanical issue that becomes far worse on a tune.
