ACL Race Series Main Bearing Set, standard size — ten tri-metal shells covering all five main journals of the 2.0 litre Theta II turbo block. The upper halves are fully grooved so oil reaches the rods without interruption, and the shells carry extra crush and extra eccentricity to hold their shape at high rpm.

Fitment — ACL's own application guide names the i30 N: Hyundai i30 N 2018 on, Veloster N 2019-2022, Elantra N 2022-2026 and Kona N 2022-2023 — 2.0L Theta II turbo (G4KH).

Standard clearance. ACL's own guidance for this set is that it suits all applications running a crankshaft finished to factory specification. We also list the same bearing in extra clearance, for high to extreme power builds wanting more oil flow, and in a tight-clearance grade 0.025 mm the other way. If your crank has been reground, see our 0.25 mm undersize main set instead.

No thrust washers are included. This set is ten shells only, so source thrust washers separately.

From ACL: tri-metal construction, with a lead-tin-copper overlay over a nickel barrier layer and a copper-lead-tin lining on SAE1010 high-tensile steel. Full 180 degree grooved uppers with matching partial grooves in the lowers, tapered groove run-out and enlarged chamfers, so big-end oil supply is never cut off abruptly.

Details: 10 shells, 5 upper and 5 lower, positions 1 to 5; standard journal size; block tunnel bore 56.000-56.018 mm; crank main journal 51.942-51.960 mm; wall thickness 2.022 mm at the crown; shell length 18.00 mm; design vertical oil clearance 0.010-0.062 mm.

Main bearings only. There are no rod bearings in this set.

A note on appearance. Race Series shells arrive with a dark tarnished colouring that can look black, brown or blue. ACL applies no cosmetic tin flash. It is deliberate, and it is not a defect.

Availability: IN STOCK at our distributor as of 5 November 2026.
