King Racing pMaxBlack Rod Bearing Set, standard size — eight tri-metal big-end shells for the 2.0 litre Theta II turbo bottom end, four pairs, one pair per connecting rod. The pMaxBlack hardened race overlay is King's top tier, built for sustained high load on a steel crankshaft.
Fitment: Hyundai i30 N 2018 on, Veloster N 2019-2022, Elantra N 2022-2026 and Kona N 2022-2023 — 2.0L Theta II turbo (G4KH). Journal and housing dimensions match King's published figures for this bearing exactly.
This is a race bearing, not an OE replacement. King positions it for circle track, drag racing, offshore and other applications running steel crankshafts. If you want a straight factory-replacement bearing for a stock rebuild, ask us instead.
Standard size, for a crankshaft at factory journal size. If your crank has already been reground, we list this same King bearing in 0.25 mm and 0.50 mm undersize — fitting an undersize set to a standard crank will seize the engine, so match the size to what your machine shop actually cut. This listing is the standard set.
A note on the box. The carton and the shipping label are printed with the engine family code rather than the car name. That is how King packages this bearing and it is the correct set for your car — do not be put off when it arrives.
