Works with: 4-cylinder engines, as a direct-port addition to a water-methanol system. The kit can be used with any braided hose system.
What this is
A complete ProMeth 4-port direct injection system with solenoid, braided hoses and nozzle holders; the drill bit and tap are included. Direct port puts one nozzle in each intake runner, so every cylinder gets its own share of water-methanol. A split block feeds two outlets on each side, and low elbow nozzle holders turn the hose 90 degrees at each runner.
Design
- Split four-port block, CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, black anodized, 100% methanol compatible (ProMeth)
- Low elbow nozzle holders, one per runner
- Solenoid on the block (as pictured)
What is in the kit
Solenoid, braided hoses, nozzle holders, drill bit and tap.
Installation
Drill and tap each runner with the manifold off the engine and clean out every chip. ProMeth's notes for its AN fittings: a drop or two of oil on the threads and seat, and no over-tightening, which distorts the 37-degree seat and leaks. They do not interchange with SAE fittings.
Warranty
ProMeth warrants its water-methanol injection kits against defects in materials and workmanship for 3 years from the original purchase date.
FAQ
Split block or inline block?
Both do the same job. This kit has two outlets per side and low elbow holders; our inline-block kit has four outlets in a row and tall elbow holders.
Why is there a solenoid?
The nozzles sit after the throttle body and see vacuum. The solenoid keeps the feed shut when the system is off, so fluid is not drawn into the engine.
