Throws a CEL

Waste of money. Car now throws a CEL, which kills the NGS button and Launch Control. Looks nice I guess and easy to install.

Hi there, thank you for your feedback on the Elantra N Takeda Momentum Cold Air Intake System. We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your car throwing a CEL. This is a well-known issue with the 2024 and 2025 models, and unfortunately, it can happen with any performance intake system. However, we would like to assure you that there is a solution. Our ECU Tuning on a spare ECU (Stage 0) will not only solve the CEL issue but also remove the Octane learning that can be quite bothersome. We appreciate your support and hope this helps resolve the issue. Thank you.

Nice kit

Feels and looks very high quality, the plastic has a nice sheen to it, I got it with the matching Takeda black rubber inlet that looks very OEM, I wanted the OEM look because California, so I wish it had a little less branding, but it will still probably fool your typical cop to thinking it's stock. The filter also looks way higher quality than your typical generic cone filter

The sound you get with the cap off is just slightly louder than stock, maybe 10 percent louder, what you really get is that now you can hear the turbo spooling which is great. With the way it's designed, if you want more sound you can easily take the box out and have the cone filter completely exposed. In terms of performance, the advertised gains are not something you can probably feel, and I can't really tell yet but it runs great.

Overall I'm pleased with this intake kit, I've spent twice the money on lower quality intakes. Oh and installation wasn't too bad, the intake alone can be installed in 15 minutes by your average car guy, including the inlet it took me about an hour because you have to take your time with that inlet, don't want to drop a screw! But definitely recommend installing yourself, plenty of YouTube videos available too.
