Spring isolator pads sit between the rear coil spring and the car at both ends of the spring. They are a consumable: the factory rubber hardens, cracks and eventually goes missing, and once it does the spring sits directly against the perch. That is where rear-end creaks, knocks over expansion joints and a hollow thump on rebound usually come from — not from the dampers.
Powerflex's polyurethane replacement restores the isolation and lasts far longer than the rubber original. This is also the part to fit if you have changed to lowering springs and the rear has developed a noise, because aftermarket springs often come without pads. Two per car (upper and lower, both sides as supplied). Powerflex back their bushes with a lifetime warranty.
Features:
- Polyurethane rear upper and lower spring isolator pads, Road Series
- Cures rear-end creaks, knocks and thumps caused by perished factory pads
- Far longer-lived than the rubber originals
- Quantity per car: 2; Powerflex diagram reference 19
- Powerflex lifetime warranty
Fitment: Hyundai Elantra AE/CN7 including N, 2020 onwards — so it covers both the Elantra N and the Elantra N Line of this generation.
Please note: These are isolator pads, not spring seats or mounts, and they do not change ride height or spring rate. Road Series is the street-biased compound; the Black Series version we also list is Powerflex's firmer motorsport specification.
