For: Hyundai and Kia SIM2K-341 ECUs. A file service: you send us the read, we return the modified file.

What this is

An immobiliser-off modification of your Hyundai and Kia SIM2K-341 file. With the immobiliser check disabled in the ECU software, the engine starts and runs without key authentication from the car's immobiliser system. Tuners and shops use it for engine swaps, bench and dyno running, and replacement ECUs that are not matched to the car's keys.

The work is done on your file; nothing ships.

What you get

  • Your Hyundai and Kia SIM2K-341 file with the immobiliser check disabled, ready to write with your own tool
  • Email support if the file does not behave as expected

How it works after you order

  1. Order this listing.
  2. Read the ECU with your flash tool. A full flash read is required; a calibration-only read cannot be used.
  3. Email the read to info@n75motorsports.ca with your order number.
  4. We modify the file and email it back. Write it to the ECU with your tool.

Requirements

  • A full flash read of the Hyundai and Kia SIM2K-341 ECU, over OBD or on the bench depending on the ECU and your tool
  • A tool that can write the full flash back to the ECU

FAQ

Why does it need a full read?

The immobiliser routine sits outside the calibration area, so a calibration-only read does not contain the code that has to be changed.

Will the car still need its original key?

No. With the check disabled in the ECU, the engine starts without key authentication. Other modules keep their own locks.

Who is this for?

Tuners and shops doing engine swaps, bench or dyno work, or fitting a replacement ECU.
