Supertech dual valve spring kit with titanium retainers and spring seat locators — a complete set for all sixteen valves. Dual springs stop valve float at the rpm a tuned 2.0T actually sees, where the factory single springs run out of control and the valvetrain starts bouncing.
Fitment: Hyundai i30 N 2018 on, Veloster N 2019-2022, Elantra N 2022-2026 and Kona N 2022-2023 — 2.0L Theta II turbo. Supertech build these for the Theta II head and we sell them for these cars on that basis and on our own build experience.
Specification, from Supertech's own catalogue: seat pressure 75 lbs at 34.50 mm installed height; open pressure 170 lbs at 10 mm; maximum net lift 14.50 mm; coil bind at 20.00 mm.
This is the one to pick if you want headroom for lift. Of the two dual-spring kits we stock, this has the softer seat pressure but the taller coil bind, so it tolerates more cam lift. The 85 lb kit sits harder on the seat but binds sooner.
Match the spring to the camshaft, not to the horsepower. A spring that binds before your cam's lift is reached will destroy the valvetrain. Tell us which cam you are running, or plan to run, and we will check the numbers against it before you order.
In the kit: 16 dual springs, 16 titanium retainers and 16 spring seat locators — a full engine.
Availability: ON ORDER at our distributor as of 5 November 2026. Ask us for a lead time before you book head work.
Not sure this suits your build? Ask us before ordering — we would rather check it against your cam than process a return.
