The Hybrid valve is back! In 1999, GFB’s first Hybrid valve pioneered the dual port design, which was so successful the technology has since been adopted by most other brands. By “staging” the two venting outlets, at low valve lifts most of the air is recirculated. As the car is driven harder, the valve opens further and more of the atmosphere venting port is exposed for a louder sound.

As a benefit, this system makes it possible to use these valves on cars with sensitive airflow meters that often suffer issues such as backfiring and/or stalling, whilst still achieving the signature blow-off sound.

N75 was easy to deal with, included everything I needed for the install and helpful instructions. The GFB T9210 BOV sounds awesome, I’ve got it set up for full atmospheric venting and I like that I can switch to 50/50 if I change my mind. The only “issue” I had was that I had to disassemble and rotate the head of the BOV 90 degrees before I installed it, since the vac line fitting was oriented such that it was pointed right at The radiator hose that runs near the valve. I also had to modify my BOV solenoid bracket to accept the upgraded one since the mounting styles were different, but it was nothing crazy. A little bit of massaging is to be expected with aftermarket stuff, the whole install only took a few hours start to finish!

I will certainly use N75 Motorsport again in the future, and I would recommend anyone else do the same!
