What this is

An upgraded turbocharger for the Hyundai 2.0T N engine, built to order in Canada. We pack larger internals into the factory-style turbo housing so it flows more air and can hold higher boost at higher rpm than the stock turbo, while staying an OE-location replacement that bolts into the factory position.

It carries the upgraded parts needed to run higher boost on a tune. The turbo is hardware only: it needs an ECU calibration to run the extra boost safely, and that tune is a separate product, not included with the turbo.

Why it is built this way

The turbo uses an upgraded billet compressor wheel on the cold side, an upgraded turbine wheel on the hot side, and upgraded bearings. Each unit is machined, balanced and assembled in Canada.

Together these internals move more air and let the engine hold higher boost further up the rev range than the stock turbo. It makes over 25 psi at 6100 rpm. The setup is capable of 350 whp and more; with a front-mount intercooler (FMIC) kit and supporting mods, 375 whp and more. Actual output depends on fuel grade, the tune and the supporting mods on the car.

Options

• Stage 1 350WHP NO CORE (SENDING IN YOUR TURBO): you send in your current turbo and it is rebuilt with the upgraded internals. No core turbo is supplied by us.
• Stage 1 350WHP New Turbocharger (NEW TURBO FROM HYUNDAI): we supply a new Hyundai turbo as the base and build it, so you do not need to send in your own turbo. Choose this option if you do not have a core turbo to send in.

How it works after you order

1. Each turbo is custom made to order, with roughly a 2-3 week build time.
2. A core exchange is required: send in your current turbo, or choose the New Turbocharger option and we supply a new Hyundai base turbo.
3. The turbo is machined, balanced and assembled in Canada.
4. Fit the turbo in the OE location and have the car tuned. The turbo needs an ECU calibration to run the higher boost, sold separately. Supporting mods such as our 4-inch downpipe are optional and help the car make more power.

FAQ

Do I need to send in my turbo?

It depends on the option. With Stage 1 350WHP NO CORE you send in your own turbo to be rebuilt. With the New Turbocharger option we supply a new Hyundai base turbo, so you do not need to send yours in.

How much power will it make?

Do I need a tune?
