This XForce down pipe kit replaces the restrictive factory down pipe on the 1.6-litre turbo Elantra N Line sedan, the car XForce lists under its Australian name of i30 N Line sedan, with a 2.5" dump pipe in non-polished stainless steel. A 200-cell high-flow race catalytic converter takes the place of the much more restrictive factory converter, letting spent gas leave the turbo against less back pressure.

A Euro-style mesh flex bellows absorbs engine and driveline movement, and the kit bolts straight onto the standard cat-back section, so it can be run on an otherwise stock exhaust. XForce specifies that the car must be re-tuned once the kit is fitted.

Features

  • 2.5" dump pipe replacing the restrictive factory down pipe
  • 200-cell high-flow race catalytic converter in place of the factory cat
  • Euro-style mesh flex bellows to absorb engine movement
  • Non-polished stainless steel construction
  • Bolts to the factory standard cat-back system
  • A tune is required after fitment

Fitment

XForce lists this kit for the Hyundai i30 N-Line Sedan 1.6L Turbo 2020-2024 and the Hyundai i20 N 2021-2024. The i30 N Line sedan is the Australian-market name for the CN7 sedan sold in Canada as the Hyundai Elantra N Line 1.6T, from 2021. The i20 N was never sold in Canada.

Does not fit: This kit does not suit the Hyundai Elantra N (2.0L turbo), the naturally aspirated 2.0L Elantra, the i30 or Elantra hatchback, or the earlier AD-generation Elantra Sport, as XForce lists it only for the 1.6L turbo i30 (Elantra) N Line sedan and the i20 N.

Part #: E2HYG4KITB

Emissions: XForce describes the converter supplied with this kit as a 200 cell high flow race cat and states that a tune is required after fitment, so the kit replaces the factory catalytic converter with a high-flow race converter rather than deleting it. XForce publishes no road-legality or emissions-compliance statement for this part. Confirm provincial emissions requirements before road use.
