Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions we hear most about our tunes, parts and trading cards. Still stuck? Get in touch and we'll help.
Tuning & compatibility
Which cars do you tune?
We specialise in Hyundai and Kia performance - Veloster N, Elantra N, Kona N, the 1.6T Elantra, Forte and Kona platforms, Stinger, Genesis, Sonata and more. We also tune Ford EcoBoost (including the Ranger Raptor), Volkswagen, Audi and BMW, the Toyota GR Corolla, and powersports engines from Polaris, Can-Am, Yamaha, Ski-Doo and CF Moto. Every calibration is developed in-house. If you're not sure whether we cover your vehicle, motor, year or transmission, ask us before ordering.
Will a tune affect my Bluelink or factory features?
No - Bluelink and the car's factory features keep working the way they do from the factory. Keep in mind that any modification can affect your manufacturer warranty; that is between you and your dealer, and tuning carries risk that you accept when you order (see our Refund Policy).
Do you offer custom tunes, or are they off-the-shelf?
Both. Most listings are proven, in-house calibrations that are ready to go. For custom work or questions about staging and supporting modifications, reach out and we'll point you to the right option.
Delivery & activation
How is a tune delivered?
It depends on the product. File-based tunes and software - for example our ECU Editor and map packs - are delivered as a download link that arrives automatically after you order. Spare-ECU calibrations are coded by us and shipped to you ready to install.
I ordered a "spare ECU" calibration - do I send you my ECU?
No. We code a brand-new ECU from your VIN and transmission type and ship it to you ready to plug in, so your original ECU stays untouched as a backup.
Do I need special hardware or software to flash a file tune?
File tunes are written to the car with a compatible flashing tool. Our ECU Editor edits the calibration file; writing it to the ECU needs a flash tool. If an order requires specific hardware we say so on the listing - if you're unsure, ask first.
How long does it take?
In-stock items ship within 24 hours and special-order items ship the day they arrive. File tunes and software are available as soon as your download link is issued. Spare-ECU calibrations currently carry a 10-27 day wait after ordering, due to an industry-wide ECU hardware shortage. Complex or custom calibrations can take a little longer - we'll keep you posted.
International orders, currency & customs
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. We ship from Toronto, Canada to customers around the world, and we have an authorised dealer network across Canada, the US, UK, UAE, Egypt, Korea and Australia.
My country or currency isn't showing at checkout - what do I do?
Prices show in your local currency automatically for supported regions, and you can switch country using the selector in the footer. If your country or currency still isn't showing correctly, email us before ordering and we'll make sure your order is set up right.
Who pays import duties and taxes?
Any import duties, taxes or customs fees charged by your country are the buyer's responsibility and are not included at checkout.
Shipping
How fast do you ship, and is it discreet?
In-stock items ship within 24 hours and special-order items ship the same day they arrive. Everything is packed carefully in new, unmarked boxes and premium mailers, with fragile items clearly labelled, so your order arrives safely and discreetly. Full details are on our Shipping Policy.
Do you offer free shipping?
Canadian orders over $400 CAD ship free. Rates for everything else are shown at checkout.
Returns & the ECU Guarantee
What is your return policy?
Unopened, unused items can be returned within 7 days of receiving them; the buyer pays return shipping and a 25% restocking fee. Special-order and installed items can't be returned, and electronics are subject to a 30% restocking fee. The full terms are on our Refund Policy page.
Are tunes, software and tools refundable?
No. ECU tuning, tuner tools and services - including file tunes, the ECU Editor and EK1 Lite, damos files, slave tools, EVC credits and anything in the Authorized Dealer section - are non-refundable. Tuning carries risk that you accept when you order.
What does the ECU Guarantee cover?
Where it applies, the ECU Guarantee is valid for 30 days after you receive the ECU. See our Refund Policy for the details.
Trading cards
What condition are your trading cards in?
Cards are pack-fresh and listed as raw (ungraded) unless the listing says otherwise. Each listing shows the exact card, the parallel or serial number where applicable, and an estimated print run so you know exactly what you're getting.
How are cards packaged for shipping?
Single cards ship protected in a sleeve and top-loader (or equivalent) inside a rigid mailer, with higher-value cards packed accordingly, so they arrive in the same condition we send them.
