What this is
Our catless upper downpipe for the 2.0T Hyundai N cars. It replaces the OE upper downpipe and deletes the primary catalytic converter. It is made from 304 stainless steel, with a turbo-matched, machined flange and a laser-engraved N75 Motorsports logo. With no cat it flows more than the OE downpipe and gives a deeper exhaust tone. It is N75 Motorsports Stage 3 approved, made to meet our Stage 3 tuning requirements, and made in Europe for N75 Motorsports.
On an ECU tune it adds 25+ whp; see our Elantra N ECU Calibration on Spare ECU (2022-2023), Elantra N ECU Calibration on Spare ECU (2024-2026) and Kona N ECU Calibration on Spare ECU. It is a simpler, lower-cost alternative to our full 4-inch downpipe with 200-cell high-flow cat.
Design
This is the upper section of the downpipe, running from the turbocharger flange down to the lower flange. The flange is machined and matched to the turbo. The pipe starts as a 3.5-inch dump at the flange and necks down to 2.75 inch. It is made from 304 stainless steel. Without the cat, exhaust flow is higher than through the OE downpipe, and the tone is deeper.

Options
- Add N75 Hardware (Fouler and Studs/Nuts and Washers): No or Yes (Gaskets also included). The Yes kit adds bolts for both ends of the downpipe, gaskets, our adjustable O2 sensor fouler, and studs, nuts and washers for the turbocharger flange. With No, no gaskets or hardware are included. Choose Yes unless you already have the hardware and gaskets.
- Vehicle: Veloster N / Kona N or Elantra N. The Veloster N and Kona N share one Vehicle option and the Elantra N has its own; choose the option that matches your car.
Installation notes
The downpipe bolts in place of the OE upper downpipe. With no cat, the rear O2 sensor can set a downpipe code. The adjustable O2 sensor fouler in the hardware kit spaces that sensor out of the exhaust stream so it does not flag the missing cat, and an N75 tune can also remove the code. A catless part is for off-road and competition use; check the emissions rules where you drive.

FAQ
Which Vehicle option fits my car?
The Veloster N and Kona N use the "Veloster N / Kona N" option, and the Elantra N uses the "Elantra N" option. For the i30 N, email info@n75motorsports.ca to confirm the correct option.
Do I need the hardware kit?
Choose Yes unless you already own bolts for both ends of the downpipe, gaskets, turbo flange studs, nuts and washers, and an O2 sensor fouler.
Will it set a check-engine light?
It can, because the rear O2 sensor has no cat left to read. The adjustable fouler in the hardware kit spaces the sensor out, and an N75 tune can also remove the code.
Is this Stage 3 approved?
Yes. It was made to meet our N75 Stage 3 tuning requirements.

First let's preface I have tried three other tuners. Not bad mounting or name dropping as they all were solid tunes. But Daniel just has that magic touch when tuning the 1.6 platform.
The car has a buttery smooth power band making the car feel like a larger displacement six cylinder over a turbo charged car. Plenty of fun to be had at any speed or RPM range.
He will take the time to get you dialed in perfectly for your car. No canned tunes here folks. And if you are a EK1 user three tunes for the price of one simply can't be neat.
I received the Stage 2 tune. Here are my thoughts:
- The shifts are buttery smooth
- I love the auto shift @2000rpm when cruising around town; saves me an extra 2-3mpg overall
- Driving in traffic is a dream now, much better than stock. I don't even hear that annoying shifting fork anymore, lol
- Any and all DCT slips are gone
- The increase in torque limit! This opened up my N75 Stage 3 ECU tune; I can feel the difference. The last time I dynoed, I got 289 lb-ft of torque. But it feels much more substantial than that!
- The clamping force is unreal. I did a run from a dig, and it hooked and slammed through the gears all the way to 7k rpm in each gear. Amazing.
Conclusion: This TCU tune is a must-have. If you have an N75 ECU tune, it is an absolute game-changer! Especially with the Redline MT-LV fluid that I'm running. I can't wait to get my retune with water meth injection. Daniel and the rest of the N75 team are the best!

After using the N75 tune for a couple of months, I can confidently say that it offers the best value for your money on the market.
